Personal Bio
Born and raised in Shoreview, MN, I spent most of my life knowing winter as an eight month season. After swallowing my pride, I lived among cheese heads through college in Milwaukee (@ Marquette University) and as a project manager in Madison (@ Epic Systems).
In college I met my wife, Lauren. She coaxed me away from the arctic and I moved to St. Louis, Missouri in November of 2006. I forgive her for luring me to St. Louis each year around October and start to curse her in July, but overall living in St. Louis is great. We play on a coed softball team, The Random Hookups and I find the warmer weather great for training for races.
Most recently, I ran the St. Louis Half Marathon (in April, 2008) and Twin Cities 10-miler (October, 2008). Most of my training is done with our dog, Sunny or a running group at our local running store (@ Big River Running)
Professional Bio
I now work as a project manager (@ Engage Software). As a project manager, I get to see a lot of variety in our work with DotNetNuke. We implement DotNetNuke as a content management system for companies and organizations looking to easily administer their website.
Previously, I was an implementation coordinator (IC) at Epic System. As an IC, I managed large, hospital implementations of electronic medical records software.
I am also writing a book with a collegue of mine, Chris Hammond. Our goal is to explain DotNetNuke in practical terms and demonstrate how easy a website in DotNetNuke can be to build and administer.
